Wind Town - Breakdown

I'm thrilled to share my portfolio piece, Wind Town, created during my pre-mentorship Advanced term at Think Tank Training Centre. This project is based on the concept art by Huageini from Gliulian.

The models are created in Maya, and the rocky platform and roof tiles are procedurally made in Houdini. The foliages are created in SpeedTree and scattered procedurally in Houdini. All the scenes are assembled in Houdini Solaris, rendered with Karma XPU. My goal for this term project is to learn Houdini from zero, make everything from scratch, and most importantly, assemble everything in Solaris.
My deepest gratitude to my mentor, Marco Lusardi, who taught me everything from the ground up, especially in Houdini Solaris. I couldn't have created this beautiful masterpiece without his guidance and support.
